The sector dealing with wind, solar and other forms of renewable energy is rapidly growing and will be at the heart of technological developments over the coming decades as there is targeted investment interest.

Research has been geared towards the development of alternative energy sources due to increasing energy needs. To survive the energy crisis, many companies in the energy industry invent new ways to export energy from renewable sources.

In our country, the development of renewable energy generates many benefits that can be categorized in environmental, energy, economic, technological and social terms.

Environmentally, the use of renewable energy reduces carbon dioxide emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels and at the same time reduces air pollution by particulates, soot and gaseous pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides.Substitution of imported fossil fuels with domestic renewable energy resources improves the country's energy independence and security. In addition, the use of renewable energy sources for energy and energy products generates many economic benefits, including increased investment in renewable energy plants, the creation of new businesses in these sectors, and the production of biomass for energy exploiting, improving the country's trade balance due to reduced imports of fossil fuels. It also enhances the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises and private investors in the production of energy and energy products, which was previously impossible, as in these sectors, and in particular in the production of fossil fuels, traditionally large companies were active and the increase of gross national product due to the production of RES energy.

The social benefits of renewable energy include the creation of new jobs for the construction, operation and maintenance of power plants and energy products from RES as well as the creation of RES utilization companies in remote areas with few alternative forms of development.

Finally, the exploitation of renewable energies and the creation of businesses in these sectors promotes innovation and the development of new energy technologies. The creation of businesses in the RES sector contributes to increased research in these fields, to the involvement of more scientists and engineers in new energy technologies and, ultimately, to increased innovation in the RES sector. At the same time, the promotion of investments in new energy technologies has the effect of technological upgrading of the country's productive potential by creating modern technological installations to produce RES energy.

Consequently, the use of renewable energy sources has multiple benefits at local, regional and national levels.
